Only desktop PCs or laptops are permitted for taking the onSET. Use of tablets or other mobile devices is not permitted.

The latest version of Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome must be used. Only these browsers guarantee a stable test environment.

At least two networked computers with internet access are required. One of the computers is always reserved as a control computer – it is not available to participants. With ten computers, the maximum number of test takers is nine.

Pop-up windows, cookies and JavaScript must be enabled. You can access the browser test directly via the g.a.s.t. portal for test centres – it checks all settings automatically.
